SETTING RANGES

You can specify either a single target or two targets. For two targets, enter both targets separated by a comma. EG: To set a heart rate of 150 to 180, you would use 150,180.

SETTING HEART RANGE

Heart ranges use simple numbers for each value, so 120,140 would set the range 120 to 140 bpm. However, you can also use zone values with z1 up to z5 to set low and high targets to the minimum and maximum of heart zones 1 to 5.

SETTING PACE OR TIME

Times and paces are expressed in mm:ss or hh:mm:ss with ":" as the separator. Valid units are;

  • "/100m" for time to complete 100m
  • "/km" for time to complete one km
  • "/5km" for time to complete five kms
  • "/10km" for time to complete ten kms
  • "/100y" for time to complete 100yards.
  • "/M" for time to complete one mile
  • "/5M" for time to complete five miles
  • "/10M" for time to complete ten miles
  • "/half-marathon" for time to complete half-marathon
  • "/marathon" for time to complete marathon

No units is interpreted as a time, so you could use “01:00:00” on an elapsed time field to buzz after one hour.

SETTING OTHER VALUES

Valid units are:

  • "mps" for metres per second
  • "kph" for kilometres per hour
  • "mph" for miles per hour
  • "mets" for metabolic units
  • "cals" for calories
